Unity will join Habitat for Humanity of York County Women’s Build on Saturday, November 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. building a home for the Wilkins family in Clover. Lunch will be provided by the Men’s Ministry. There is a job for all skills and abilities, 16 and older. While a Women’s Build encourages women to join the Habitat mission, men are also welcome. Habitat homeowners take classes on financial literacy and home ownership, complete 250 hours of “sweat equity” by working on their own home and repay a 0% interest rate loan for the price of their home. Please contact Steve Hardy at stevehardy59@yahoo.com or 803.579.7341 to sign up.
