Nursery Coordinator – Part Time
Unity Presbyterian Church is seeking a faithful, hospitable, and organized person with a love for young children and their families to serve as our part-time Nursery Coordinator, overseeing all aspects of the Nursery program, including but not limited to supervising paid nursery workers as well as scheduling, training and overseeing volunteers. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and are expected to demonstrate knowledge of infant, toddler, and preschool developmental stages and the ability to interact with and nurture young children (birth-4 years); demonstrate faith in and love for Jesus Christ; communicate effectively; and demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to develop relationships with nursery workers, both paid and volunteer, parents, and children. The Nursery Coordinator will work an average of 6-7 hours a week and is expected to be present in the Nursery Wing on Sunday mornings from 8:00-12:30, representing Unity Presbyterian Church as the “face of the nursery” and cultivating positive relationships with parents and children.
