Prayer Focus: Have you ever noticed how often Jesus answered questions by telling a story? Instead of just explaining his actions, he tells a story. Jesus knows that stories have the power to connect us, to teach us, to transform us, if we allow them to. This week, think about the stories that have impacted your life and your faith. Also, take time to ask yourself, whose stories have you yet to hear? Is there anyone whose story you are avoiding listening to? Pray this week that you might listen to a new story or two in the days and weeks to come.
