4 But I said, “I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my cause is with the Lord, and my reward with my God.”

Prayer Focus: For the second time in our text for this week, we hear the Lord “formed me in the womb.” The Lord has known you and chosen you since before you were born. In this is hope, for you are not an accident. God has become your strength. Even when your own strength has been spent, the Lord is your strength. Surely your cause is with the Lord and your reward is with your God. Give thanks and pray with hope today in the Lord.
