Wednesday, January 5: Scripture – Isaiah 43:1
1 But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.
Prayer Focus: With our verses for the rest of the week, we switch back to the prophet Isaiah once again. Again we hear the voice of the Lord speaking to us – do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name, you are mine. What an amazing gift it is that the God who created the heavens and the earth knows your name; knows my name. Give thanks in your prayers today that you are known by God.
