Wednesday, January 26: Scripture – Luke 4:20-21
20 And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.
21 Then he began to say to them, “Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
Prayer Focus: The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. What was it about Jesus and his reading that brought the eyes of all in the synagogue to him? No one is sleeping now or making plans for lunch. No one’s mind is wandering off or distracted by others in the synagogue. Pray that you might keep your eyes fixed on Jesus for today the scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.
