Wednesday, August 30: Scripture – Romans 12:12-13
12 Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; persevere in prayer.
13 Contribute to the needs of the saints; pursue hospitality to strangers.
Prayer Focus: Persevere in prayer. That is such an important idea. So often our timing is not God’s timing and we find ourselves waiting. We expect God to act now, but often we need to persevere in prayer as we wait on the Lord. While we wait and while we pray, we care for one another (the needs of the saints) and we show hospitality to strangers (those outside our community.) Pray that your prayers might lead you into a life of service today.
