5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
Prayer Focus: Just when it seems that all hope is lost, one of the elders tells John that “the Lion of the tribe of Judah has conquered.” The one who has conquered is worthy to open the scroll. There is one who is worthy: Jesus Christ is worthy. Time and time again in this letter we will find that Jesus Christ is THE REVELATION. Jesus Christ is worthy. Give thanks to God that God has made a way where there was no way. Jesus Christ is worthy!
