Scripture – Acts 2:44- All who believed were together and had all things in common; 

Prayer Focus: The term Unity often gets confused with sameness.  Sameness means that multiple things are identical, are uniform, without variety.  Unity, on the other hand, means cohesion, sharing a common purpose.  All believers were together, they had all things in common, which means they were unified.  There is still a great range of diversity within the individuals that make up the community of faith, but they are unified in their purpose to follow Christ and to build the beloved community.  Pray that the Church today might be unified in our common calling to be Christ’s faithful disciples.
