3 Strengthen the weak hands
and make firm the feeble knees.
4 Say to those who are of a fearful heart,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Here is your God.
He will come with vengeance,
with terrible recompense.
He will come and save you.”
Prayer Focus: How are your hands and your knees? I’ve had arthroscopic surgery on both knees over the course of my life and sometimes they can tell me when the weather is about to change. The announcement that God is on the way has the result of bringing strength to weak hands, firmness to feeble knees, and courage to fearful hearts. Who do you know who needs to hear that the Lord is on the way? Pray that you might share this good news in ways that bring new life to those who struggle.
