Tuesday, September 27: Scripture – Psalm 60:10-12
10 Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies.
11 O grant us help against the foe, for human help is worthless.
12 With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
Prayer Focus: The line in these verses which stands out to me is “for human help is worthless.” We cannot triumph over sin and evil on our own. We cannot even put together a winning coalition of the willing, for human help is worthless. However, with God we shall do valiantly. God is our help. Pray that God will grant you victory today.
