2 Prove me, O Lord, and try me;
test my heart and mind.
3 For your steadfast love is before my eyes,
and I walk in faithfulness to you.
Prayer Focus: For the second day in this psalm we encounter the image of walking. Yesterday it was walking with “integrity” – a concept we will return to when we reach verse 11. Today, we walk “in faithfulness.” Our life with and before the Lord is never stagnant and stationary. We are always “walking.” Pray that as you walk, you might keep the steadfast love of God ever before you. Pray that your travels will draw you ever nearer to God’s faithfulness.
