Tuesday, May 31: Scripture – Acts 2:3-4
3 Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them.
4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.
Prayer Focus: These tongues of fire remind us of another fire. A fire long ago that burned a bush but did not consume it. A fire that caught the attention of a passing shepherd tending to his flock. God spoke through fire that day, and as we are gifted with that same fire through the Spirit, the story is now ours to pass on. Pray that the Spirit might guide you to share the story of God’s love with others through your words and actions.
