2 And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them.
Prayer Focus: As I am writing these devotions, a huge thunderstorm has raged outside. I’m grateful that the rain, wind, and lightning is all outside! As the disciples are gathered together, the sound, the violent wind, and divided tongues of fire fill the room where they are gathered. Except for the pouring rain, it’s like an inside thunderstorm. What signs do you see that God is doing something big today? The signs might appear to be terrifying, but know that God is at work. Pray for eyes to see and ears to hear today.
