Tuesday, February 2: Scripture – Mark 1:36-37

36 And Simon and his companions hunted for him. 37 When they found him, they said to him, “Everyone is searching for you.”

Prayer Focus: When Simon and his companions awoke and discovered Jesus was gone, they went looking for him. Jesus was not where they expected him to be. So they went to find him. Apparently Jesus had not gone too far because when they found him, they said to Jesus, “Everyone is searching for you.” Is that the case today? Is everyone searching for Jesus? One recent study indicated that 21% of Americans describe their religious affiliation as “nothing in particular.” In shorthand they are called, “Nones.” Are they looking for Jesus? Pray that you might speak a word or engage in an action, that makes someone want to look for Jesus today. Pray that you might help their search begin.
