17 … A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon, 18 who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by impure spirits were cured, 19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.
Prayer Focus: A large crowd is gathered from all over to hear Jesus and be healed of their diseases. Jesus’ teaching does not happen in a vacuum – it occurs in the midst of his healing ministry. In the present moment, Jesus is changing peoples’ lives and making them whole. His teaching is designed to be the same – here and now to change peoples’ lives and make them whole. Pray that what you hear from Jesus is not about someday, but making a difference today.
