8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to set out for a place that he was to receive as an inheritance, and he set out, not knowing where he was going.
Prayer Focus: Abraham obeyed the word of the Lord when he was called to get up and go. He did not have a GPS with directions or a map with his route plotted out for him. By faith he went to a place that God would show him. He trusted that God would keep God’s promise of an inheritance and descendants. By faith Abraham believed God would allow good fruit to grow. Pray for your faith today. Pray for the faith to follow, even and especially, when it is not clear where God is leading you.
