Tuesday, August 1: Scripture – Isaiah 55:2
2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,
and your labor for that which does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to me, and eat what is good,
and delight yourselves in rich food.
Prayer Focus: As we move into this new program year, we will be asked to make some choices. The challenge is so often not between good and evil choices. The challenge is that we try to spread ourselves too thin among a multitude of seemingly good choices. But being spread so thin does not sustain or satisfy. Where will you choose to focus your attention and your faith this year? Where will you find what is truly good and delightful? Pray that God will lead you in your choices this year.
