5 Love isn’t selfish
     or quick tempered.
It doesn’t keep a record
     of wrongs that others do.

Prayer Focus: This verse in 1 Corinthians 13 continues the description of love in the negative, describing what love is not. Therefore, we must think, if this isn’t what love looks like, what does love look like? Children describe love in these ways: sharing what you have with others, calming down before expressing your anger, being compassionate, acting selfless, putting the needs of others ahead of our own needs, forgiving others who hurt you. These are hard things to do for people of any age. Pray that you may look for ways to share love in these ways this week. Notice times when others show love for you in these ways as well and name it as love.
