24 “Then the one who had received the one talent also came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew that you were a harsh man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not scatter,
25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’”
Prayer Focus: The third slave perceives his master to be a harsh man, therefore he acts in fear. He hides the talents that have been given to him, instead of investing them. Today, try and discern who you imagine God to be. Is God a comforting, loving, creator to you? Is God distant and judgmental? Is God too big for you to imagine at all? Pray that God might continue to reveal more of who God is to you and to our whole community.
