3b He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.
Prayer Focus: How often we want to head out on our own and make our own way in the world. We hope that the Lord (or the pop culture “guardian angel”) will stay close enough behind to prevent us from falling off a cliff, but we want to be firmly in the lead. How hard it is to trust the Lord enough to follow, to be led. The Lord knows the right paths, the ones that will bring us to his glory. Pray that you might give up control today enough to follow the Lord instead of trying to drag him along where you think you want to go.
