Thursday, May 4: Scripture – John 14:5
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”
Prayer Focus: Thomas, who will later become known only for his doubts, here expresses the curiosity we all share. “Lord, we’re not sure where you are going so we’re not sure of the way to get there.” We can trust this is a genuine question. Do we need a map, or GPS coordinates? Will Siri or Onstar get us there? We are not sure, but we do know that where we are today is not the end of the journey. Pray that you might not become too settled in your faith, for the way is not yet complete.
