Scripture – Matthew 4:15 – “Land of Zebulun, land of Naphtali, on the road by the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the gentiles—

Prayer Focus: This geographical description helps the reader to envision the direction that Jesus’ ministry will take.  With Jesus’ move, it is those in Capernaum, and the surrounding areas, and as the gospel later states as well, even those in the whole world will receive the Light of Christ.  Jesus’ ministry, even as it is just getting started, is predicted to spread far and wide, breaking down not only geographical barriers, but also cultural boundaries.  Pray this week that we might be willing to encounter Christ wherever we find ourselves.
