6 Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near;
7 let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Prayer Focus: Hide and seek was always a favorite game for me as a child and for me to play with my own children when they were young. The prophet reminds us that it is not time for you and for me to hide. The time for seeking the Lord is now. That window might not last forever. So seek the Lord now while he is near and may be found. Let the wicked (ie you and me) forsake our evil ways and return to the Lord with repentance. God is merciful and he will abundantly pardon if we will only turn to him.
