Prayer Focus: Jesus does what he says he came to do. He goes throughout Galilee proclaiming the message. And yet, notice what else Mark includes: “and casting out demons.” Jesus’ word has power; his teaching makes things happen; his presence brings healing and confrontation with those opposed to the liberating ways of God. Pray that you might embrace the call to both 1) proclaim the word and 2) work for healing. Pray that your mouth, your hands, and your feet will all follow Jesus today.
