28 Now about eight days after these sayings Jesus took with him Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray.
Prayer Focus: The story jumps ahead eight days, but once again it begins with Jesus seeking a time to pray. This time he gathers his three closest disciples – Peter and John and James – and they go up on the mountain to pray. Gather three of your closest friends in Christ today to pray. No other reason, just gather together to pray. You never know what God might do when we gather to pray.
