Thursday, February 10: Scripture – 1 Peter 2:6
6 For it stands in scripture: “See, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
Prayer Focus: A cornerstone is the first stone placed by the builder when constructing a house or other structure. It must be placed correctly and squarely, for every other stone and line in the house gets its placement and direction from the cornerstone. The Lord has placed the cornerstone. As you make your plans for ministry and service today, be sure to check your plans with the direction indicated by the cornerstone.
