12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” because they knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them and did the same with the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Jesus appeared to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.
Prayer Focus: He took bread, blessed it, and broke it. Taste and see. Drink and remember. How many times had Jesus began meals with the disciples this way? The disciples knew it was the Lord as they sat down to share a meal together. We too have the opportunity to see Christ when we sit down to the tables in our lives. Pray this week that as you sit down to your meals that you might also taste and see, drink, and remember, the good news of the resurrection.
