13 No slave can serve two masters, for a slave will either hate the one and love the other or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
Prayer Focus: Who do you serve? If you’re not sure, ask yourself, what do you spend the most time doing? What do you spend your money on? What is your energy put towards? Anyone who has a smart watch or phone probably gets a notification each week telling you how much screen time you’ve averaged each day…how many hours do you average looking at a screen? If we received an alert telling us how much time we spent this week focused on loving God and loving our neighbors, what would your average be? Pray today that we might prioritize investing the gifts we have in the growth and nurture of our relationships, both with God and with one another.
