11 But as for me, I walk in my integrity;
redeem me and be gracious to me.
12 My foot stands on level ground;
in the great congregation I will bless the Lord.
Prayer Focus: We return again this morning to walking in integrity. The word we translate as “integrity” is a Hebrew word which denotes something that is whole. Commentator James L. Mays writes, “[This word] means to have essential coherence, to be one thing. When the remainder of the description is examined, it is apparent what gives the life described its integrity: a devotion to the Lord that governs all of life.” Pray that your life might have this kind of faithful coherence. Pray that you might be “one thing” – a follower of Jesus Christ.
