9 With weeping they shall come,
and with consolations I will lead them back;
I will let them walk by brooks of water,
in a straight path where they shall not stumble,
for I have become a father to Israel,
and Ephraim is my firstborn.
Prayer Focus: They will come with weeping. I suspect some of the tears will be tears of sadness for all that has been lost. Other tears will indicate relief that the time of exile is finally complete. There will be tears of consolation and even more there will be tears of joy! Pray that your eyes might be open today to let all the emotions out, for God will gather them up and lead you on a straight path today.
