“Can you teach the lioness to stalk her prey and satisfy the appetite of her cubs as they crouch in their den, waiting hungrily in their cave? And who sets out food for the ravens when their young cry to God, fluttering about because they have no food?”
Prayer Focus: God accounts for the needs of lions and their cubs, of ravens and their young. The God that designed these creatures, designed you as well. It never ceases to amaze me that the same God who created and considered the needs of creatures like lions and ravens, also created and considers me. How will they collect food? How will their young receive nourishment? How will human beings learn to walk and talk? No detail is too small to be important. If you take nothing else from Job’s story this week, know that nothing is insignificant to God. You matter and you are loved. Pray this week that you recognize that you, me, and everyone you encounter this week, is a carefully created masterpiece of God’s hands.
