Prayer Focus: If the third slave is driven by fear, I wonder if this emotion also leads to his downfall? Professor Mark Douglas says, “Perhaps, for Matthew, the God we face is the one we imagine.” If fear drives our imaginations and our actions, what will the outcome be? Pray today that we as individuals, and as a church community, might be driven by hope, rather than fear.
