Prayer Focus: In the other gospels, the word ‘love’ is not mentioned frequently. Yet, here in John, love is mentioned over forty times. And the word ‘love’ here in John 3:16 is not a sentiment, it is an action towards humankind from the God of the universe. God loves us and is constantly pursuing us to be in relationship with us, and to make us whole. Say a prayer of gratitude today for God’s love, and for God’s constant, and persistent Spirit who is always with us.
