11 Then he entered Jerusalem and went into the temple; and when he had looked around at everything, as it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
Prayer Focus: This is the most unusual part of the triumphant entry story as we find it in the Gospel of Mark. Jesus enters Jerusalem and goes to the temple. He has been surrounded by this crowd calling for him to save them now. But Jesus looks around and then goes back to Bethany. The whole trip into Jerusalem was just a scouting mission. Perhaps we want Jesus to transform our lives and the world right now. Why are you waiting, Jesus? But Jesus has a larger plan. His timing is perfect. Pray that you might trust the Lord’s timing today.
