Sunday, July 16: Departure
“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” -Numbers 6:24-26
Consider: departing as a spiritual act…perhaps one we do not think of often. We can also call it leave-taking. When we leave, we are opening ourselves up to the possibility of arriving somewhere new, both physically and spiritually.
Reflect: What departures are you making today? What are you leaving? What are you taking with you? Where are you hoping to arrive?
Pray: Holy God, be with me as I leave, may your Spirit guide me as I go. Amen.
