Scripture – Matthew 2:11-12
11 On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they knelt down and paid him homage. Then, opening their treasure chests, they offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. 12 And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they left for their own country by another road.
Prayer Focus: Once we have encountered Christ, we are never the same. We offer what we have as gifts to Jesus Christ, and yet, this baby lying in a manger gives us more than we could ever imagine. Take time today to name how you have encountered Christ this season. In what ways are you experiencing Christ at work in your life this Christmas? How are you being transformed by that encounter? And how are you sharing that experience with those around you?
