33 That same hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem, and they found the eleven and their companions gathered together. 34 They were saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and he has appeared to Simon!” 35 Then they told what had happened on the road and how he had been made known to them in the breaking of the bread.
Prayer Focus: After hearing (and disbelieving) the news of resurrection in the morning, walking and talking with Jesus on the road all afternoon, sitting down to eat dinner as it was late in the day, and recognizing Jesus in the breaking of the bread, the two disciples immediately return the seven miles to Jerusalem to tell others what had happened to them on the road and at dinner. Seeing Jesus gives us good news to share. Do not hold it in or wait, go ahead and tell someone else today!
