Saturday, October 8: Scripture – 2 Kings 5:13
13 But his servants approached and said to him, “Father, if the prophet had commanded you to do something difficult, would you not have done it? How much more, when all he said to you was, ‘Wash, and be clean’?”
Prayer Focus: Naaman has bold servants for while their leader is enraged they approach him with a question: If the prophet had asked you to do something difficult, you would have jumped at the chance. Why not try this simple thing? Have you ever wanted to take the hard road when an easy one was available? Have you ever refused to “press the easy button” because you thought the more difficult path must be the better one? Pray that you might find the easy path that God is opening up for you today. Simple, ordinary, regular, local water is all you need. Wash and be clean!
