Saturday, March 26: Scripture – 1 John 4:7-8
7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
8 Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Prayer Focus: For God is love. All of our language about God works at the level of metaphor, for no single word can capture the mystery and revelation of God. However, “love” with all its mystery and revelation seems to come close. What one word would you use to describe and name God? Is there a better one than “love?” Pray that you might love one another so that today you might know, I mean really know, God.
