7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Prayer Focus: There is no one so lost, that they cannot be found. That news might frustrate those of us who try to follow the rules and be faithful our whole lives, or it might comfort those of us who feel like we are always getting it wrong. But the truth about that statement isn’t about what we have done or left undone; the truth is about God’s grace. There is no one so lost, that they are outside of the grace that God pours over our lives. One of my favorite lines in ‘Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing’, is “prone to wander, Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love.” Even when we wander…there is no where we might go, that God will not seek to find us again. Pray today that you might understand the depth and beauty of God’s grace and love in your life.
