42 For thus says the Lord: Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good fortune that I now promise them.
Prayer Focus: Once again, we trust and hope in the God who accomplishes what he says. Just as the Lord brought great disaster upon the people, so God will bring upon them good fortune. Do not put your trust in “gods” without power. Do not put your trust in “gods” who fail to keep their promises. No, trust in the Lord. Hope in the Lord. For the Lord will accomplish all that he promises you and me today.
