13 In their presence I charged Baruch, saying,
14 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Take these deeds, both this sealed deed of purchase and this open deed, and put them in an earthenware jar, in order that they may last for a long time.
Prayer Focus: Jeremiah wants the deed to last a long time. What happened today should be known in future generations. It is almost like a time capsule. Do you have a photo album of pictures from your family? Have you read the history of Fort Mill or your town? What can you learn from the past that makes an impact on your life today? Give thanks for God’s faithfulness in the past and pledge that today will be a day you would be proud for someone to read about 100 years from now.
