10 Foreigners shall build up your walls,
and their kings shall minister to you,
for in my wrath I struck you down,
but in my favor I have had mercy on you.
11 Your gates shall always be open;
day and night they shall not be shut,
so that nations shall bring you their wealth,
with their kings led in procession.
12 For the nation and kingdom
that will not serve you shall perish;
those nations shall be utterly laid waste.
Prayer Focus: I’m encouraged by the verse here which says, “Your gates shall always be open.” For gates can be used to restrict and keep out. But they might also be used to open and welcome in. Pray that we might extend the welcome of open gates to all who might come to Unity Presbyterian Church seeking to know the Lord. Pray that all who enter might encounter Christ in a meaningful and life changing way.
