Saturday, January 1: Scripture – John 1:16-17
16 From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
17 The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Prayer Focus: Grace and truth. The two go together and they are both gifts from Christ. As we begin this new year, pray for both grace and truth. Not just a grace that excuses all behavior and not just a truth that is cold and heartless; but Grace and Truth. Pray for the grace and truth that we experience in and through Jesus Christ. Give this new year to him and commit to living with grace and truth in 2022!
