39 And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

Prayer Focus: Yesterday, Jesus gave the “greatest and first commandment,” but it appears that he’s not done yet. Jesus keeps going and adds a verse from Leviticus, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus seems to set it as equally as important as loving the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Is it possible to love God and not love our neighbor?  Can we truly love our neighbor if we do not love God with all that we are? Pray that today you might love your neighbor as yourself.
