29 And do not keep seeking what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying. 30 For it is the nations of the world that seek all these things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
Prayer Focus: Today we find another alternative to worry – seeking the kingdom of God. Seeking to live in a way and as part of a people who are focused on God’s work of justice, faith, peace, and love again shifts our attention away from what we cannot control. Put your trust in God, seek God’s kingdom, and believe the Father knows what you need.
