4 even though I, too, have reason for confidence in the flesh. If anyone else has reason to be confident in the flesh, I have more:
5 circumcised on the eighth day, a member of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;”
Prayer Focus: If believers were audited for their faithfulness the way that we can be audited for our finances, these two verses would be Paul’s report. As he writes to encourage the Philippians, he includes his personal experience. Paul shares his personal testimony to give his message authenticity and authority. His journey may have had some rough seasons, but he does not shy away from sharing it. Pray this week that when the opportunity arises, that you might share your testimony with those you encounter along your journey as well.
