Scripture –  Luke 12:32-34

32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give alms. Make purses for yourselves that do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Prayer Focus: In our fourth week exploring Unity’s “We Love” Annual Vision of Ministry, this week we turn to our response: Sharing love in faithful stewardship of our time, talents, and treasure. The first scripture we will hear on Sunday is Jesus speaking to the disciples in Luke 12. He has just told them not to worry about their life and to seek first the kingdom of God. In that context, Jesus tells them to sell their possessions and give alms. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. What do you treasure? What occupies time, space, and energy in your mind and your life? That’s where your heart is. Pray that your heart might be with the Lord.
