Prayer Focus: This coming Sunday at Unity Presbyterian Church we will mark Reformation Day, technically October 31 but we are celebrating on a Sunday. We are encouraging those who purchased tartan items last year to wear them on Sunday as part of the celebration. We celebrate Reformation Day not as a day of distinction (i.e., we’re not Roman Catholic.) No, we celebrate this day to make the claim God has on God’s people. As Jeremiah says on behalf of the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.” We continue to welcome new members into God’s family. Pray that you might rejoice with the newest members of God’s family today.
